Summer Learning Journey (Day 3 Week 2 Activity 2)

The Right to an Education

Hello Bloggers! Today I will be talking about Malala Yousafzai. Malala Yousafzai is from Pakistan. In 2012, she was shot at when traveling home from school. Back then, girls living in Pakistan were not allowed to go to school. Many people believe that Malala was attacked because she did not agree with this idea. Once Malala got better, she fought for the rights of all women and girls to be able to go to school. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize - the youngest person to ever receive this prize. You can read more of her story hereMalala has written books about her own life. She has also written a book for children called Malala’s Magic Pencil. Now I will give some facts.

1. Malala Yousafzai was born on 12 July 1997.

2. Malala Yousafzai was a Muslim.

3.Malala Yousafzai, the youngest ever winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and campaigner for girls' education.

Those are the facts I know. Now I can write any story I want!!

The Mouse

There was a mouse that was always hungery it always wanted food. When I came to him he could talk! I never knew that I was shocked. He said "Please I am poor" then I said  "Ok I will give you some cheese" Then he was jumping up and down with excitement. I had one in my pocket then I said "Oops  Sorry mouse I have nothing to give you". Then he stoped jumping with excitement and did not say a word for 1 hour. Then I quickly ran home before he sawed me I got the cheese put it in my pocket and went back where he was. I said "Hi I do have cheese I'll  proof it" then he sawed the cheese started jumping a lot then said "Thank You a lot" then I said "Your Welcome" then he ate the full cheese that I gave him.

The End.

Thank You For Watching I hope you like my blog! Bye Bye!

  2. Kia Ora Aamena,

I’m Dani! I’m one of the blog commenters here at the Summer Learning Journey. I see you have been busy completing Summer Learning Journey posts, keep up the great work!

Thanks for sharing your great short story about the mouse. I like how it is about being kind and sharing with others if you can. Do you enjoy writing short stories? When I was younger I preferred reading stories over writing stories because if I was reading I became absorbed in the story and I would always want to finish reading quickly! Do you prefer to read or write?

    Keep up the awesome blogging!

    Blog ya later,

    Dani
