Summer Learning Journey (Day 1 week 1 Activity 3)

Scalling New Heights

Hi Guys, Today I will be talking about Sir Edmund Hillary. He also did so much charity work. He started the himaliyan trust in 1960 to bring education, healthcare and safe drinking water to save people. Now I will give some facts.

1. He started the himalayan trust of the people of Nepal.

2. It was the country where Mount Everest was located.

3. Tenzy Norgay were the first person to reach the top of Mount Everest.

Now I will be talking about Charity and my one is the SPCA. It helps animals to get better. Also to live. That's the charity I choose. Thank you for Watching!

  4. Mālō e lelei Aamena,

Thanks for doing week one, day one, activity three! I enjoyed reading about the SPCA, they are an amazing organisation aren’t they?! I’m interested to know more though - in order to get the full points for this activity, it would be great if you could write some more and give a few more details. Have a look at the activity’s instructions again and have a think about these questions when you are re-doing your post:

what does the SPCA stand for? Where is the SPCA? What else do they do at the SPCA? If you were to work at a charity, what charity would it be and why?

Have another go at the activity and once you’ve written more Aamena (you can either edit this post or delete it and make an entirely new one), i’m sure you’ll get the full points.

Ka pai! Have a great day and happy blogging.
    Eliza :)
