Salaam Everyone, today I will be talking about Weaving decorations. Today we did two activities which were the best Christmas activities that I have done! So one of them were Pixel Art and the other one was Dot Art. This is how the Dot Activity went like. So there was a Christmas tree printed on a paper then we had to get another paper and use pins to make holes onto the paper. In Pixel art we had to have 2 different colour papers, and we had to cut  it even so that it can stand out well.

Waikowhai Intermidiate Visit!

 Waikowhai Intermediate Visit!

Salaam everybody! Today I'm going to be talking about Waikowhai Intermediate! Today at 9:00 AM we had to go to Waikowhai Intermediate because we had to meet our 2021 teachers. My Class was Room 10 and my teachers name was Ms Kumar. In intermediate, they showed us some pictures of what they do. Then the school councilers explained about some stuff which was amazing! There was a sheet which said 'About Me' then we had to write some stuff about us! After, we came back to school! 

I had so much fun!!!!!

Skateboarding!

 Skateboarding!

Kia Ora everyone! Guess what we did today? Skateboarding! It was our first session doing skateboarding with our coaches Ben and Lawrence. We were lucky to have 2 sessions of Skateboarding! In the beginning I felt very nervous because I couldn't balance well and I kept falling down. But in free time we were able to do what we wanted  to do so I practiced more and I got better at it.  I had a real growth mindset!

We learned 4 new skills and they were the Crab Walk, Tik Tak, Nose touch and front side back side. These activities were challenging for me but I did get the hang of it eventually. At the end we got to have free time doing whatever we wanted with the skateboards. I was practising these skills that they taught us! The easiest activity for me would be  Tik Tak. I found this activity easy because it was the easiest way to turn!

Production 2020!!

 Production 2020!

Salaam everyone, today I will be talking about Production 2020! Last week we had Production for 3 days! The days were, Wednesday the 4th November  (Night), Thursday the 5th November (Night) and Friday the 6th November (Morning). Our Production was based on the movie 'Aladdin' but Miss McGrath changed the title into 'Jasmine and Aladdin'. The role that I got was a storyteller, I liked having this role because I felt very confident going on stage and saying my lines. My costume colour was yellow and I had a purple belt with it. My Brother's Birthday!

 My Brother's Birthday!🎂

Salaam Bloggers, today I will be talking about my Brother's Birthday! This year, he turned 5 and he will be going to school! Also, we celebrated his birthday by going to a restaurant called 'Kabul'. We invited some of our Relatives to celebrate my brother's birthday with us! We ate lots of Afghani food, which was so yummy! After, we came back home and we invited our Relatives to come to our house. The reason we invited them again was because my younger sister made Chocolate Cake for my brother! The Presents that he got was great!

Recipe Book

Kia Ora Everybody! Today I will be talking about My Recipe. As a part of distance learning our teachers created a slideshow for writing recipes in. We had to choose a recipe that we often eat or that your family likes. Everybody put yummy recipes that my mouth started watering! The recipe that I did was Mutton Biryani, Mutton Biryani is mostly Asian food. Have you tried Mutton Biryani before? If you really want to see my recipe here is a photo.
